Jon Smith currently serves as the Technical Services Manager for Engineered Systems, Inc. Jon has been employed with Engineered Systems for 21 years, having experience across a broad spectrum of roles. He has served as an In-Shop and Field Technician, Service Manager, Technical Support, Wiring Shop Technician and Manager, Controls Design and Crane Modernization Project Manager. Jon has worked on crane and hoist installations, crane modernization projects, inspection and repairs and special projects in a managerial role. Jon has led the wiring shop standardizations and cultivated vendor relationships to enhance our customer experience by offering new technology. He trains Engineered Systems technicians on electrical basics and advanced troubleshooting.
